The Cottage, Ecluse 155 Pont Yannic.
Occupying one of the prettiest corners of the Nantes to Brest canal this cottage, once the home of a Breton lock keeper, will ensure that you have one of your most peaceful and relaxing holidays ever taken. Many guests now return year after year and say that it is somewhere very special.

Approached from Rostrenen, along one and a half kilometres of towpath you arrive at the cottage and enter a side door leading into a well equipped kitchen. Ample dishes and cooking utensils, gas oven, double sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, small kitchen table and door leading to rear courtyard with garden furniture and barbeque.

Up three steps to the dining room - oak refectory table seats ten - no problems inviting friends here! Double doors lead to the garden. Living room has comfortable sofas and window seats overlooking the long curve of the canal.
DVD player - no telly - really peaceful! CD player/radio, books (French and English) games and jigsaws, wood burning fire and side lights create a warm, cosy sitting room.
Leading from this room and down three steps is the ground floor twin bedroom. This has a door opening onto the garden and a large picture window giving views of the canal and garden to the side of the cottage.

At the bottom of the stairs is the spacious shower room with a washing machine.

Upstairs has one double and one twin bedroom both with hand basins and separated by a toilet and small landing. The dormer windows at the front allow you to sit and make the most of the sunsets and both rooms have velux windows at the rear allowing light and ventilation.
Electric radiators are in all rooms and our winter guests have the comfort of electric blankets.

The sheltered enclosed garden has lawns, large south facing terrace, the rock features and trees create the perfect outdoor eating area.

We live approximately two kilometres away so are at hand but not under your feet!
